MODELLBRNO 2010 - Modelcontest at Brno (Czech Republic)
Part 1: Aircraft
Beautiful weather, a good atmosphere and many models – that’s ModellBrno 2010. Once again modellers from near and far appeared to join the competition, do some shopping or just to be along. This year the show was held in another, very large hall on the area of the Brno fair. So the many spectators could enjoy the many exhibits (apprx. 1500 models in the competition) in a relaxed way.
As usually, a large amount of kits, add on parts and literature was available. Apart from certain special subjects (Vietnam War, Japanese aircraft) the youngster category was very strong again. To prevent boredom a diversified frame program has been organized, including Go-cart for children and demonstrations of the Brno fire brigade. We spent a very convenient day with our modelling fellows from Czech Republic. Once again they excited us with their hospitality and delight on our common hobby.
Many thanks to all guys from Modellbrno for this great event!
